Apollo.io Pricing in 2026: Plans, Credits and the Real Cost per Seat
Apollo is the default first tool for many outbound teams, and its pricing looks simple until credits enter the picture. Here are the four plans with the prices and credit allowances listed on Apollo's pricing page in late September 2026, what annual versus monthly billing changes, what a three-person team actually pays per year, and the limits worth knowing before you commit, especially if you sell into Europe.

Key takeaways
- As listed on Apollo's pricing page in late September 2026, per seat per month: Free at 0 dollars, Basic at 49 on annual billing or 65 monthly, Professional at 79 annual or 99 monthly, and Organization at 119 on annual billing only, with a minimum of three seats.
- Credits are the real currency. Annual plans grant them per seat per year up front: 30,000 on Basic, 48,000 on Professional and 72,000 on Organization. Monthly billing grants far fewer: 2,500 a month on Basic and 4,000 on Professional. The free plan includes 900 credits per seat per year, granted monthly.
- The real annual cost for a three-person team: about 1,764 dollars on Basic, 2,844 on Professional and 4,284 on Organization with annual billing. Monthly billing on Professional costs about 3,564 for the same team and gives much less credit volume.
- Apollo is strong value for US-focused prospecting and simple sequencing. Its limits show in European contact data, in phone numbers, and in running high-volume cold email from the same tool that holds your database. Many teams pair it with separate sending infrastructure.
Apollo is the tool most outbound teams try first: a large contact database, a Chrome extension, sequences and a free plan, all in one place. Its pricing looks simple on the surface and gets more interesting once credits come into play, which is why "how much does Apollo cost" is such a common question for AI assistants. We use Apollo in client work alongside other data sources, so here is the plain breakdown with the numbers listed on Apollo's pricing page in late September 2026.

Apollo advertises savings of about a quarter for annual billing. The bigger difference is the credit volume: annual plans grant a full year of credits up front, while monthly plans grant a much smaller monthly allowance.
How Apollo credits work
Credits are what you spend when you reveal contact data, export records or run enrichment. An email reveal and a mobile number do not cost the same, and exports and some AI features draw credits too, so the number of contacts you can actually work is lower than the headline credit figure suggests. Check Apollo's current credit table for the exact cost per action before you size your plan. The most common surprise we see is a team on monthly billing that runs out of credits in the second week.
What a team really pays
Seat pricing adds up quickly. For a team of three, per year:
| Plan | Annual billing | Monthly billing |
|---|---|---|
| Basic | about 1,764 dollars | about 2,340 dollars |
| Professional | about 2,844 dollars | about 3,564 dollars |
| Organization | about 4,284 dollars | annual only |

On top of that come the costs that sit outside Apollo: separate sending domains and mailboxes if you run serious cold email volume, a warm-up tool if you do not use Apollo's, and additional data sources for markets where Apollo's coverage is thin.
Where Apollo is strong, and where it falls short
Apollo is strong value for US-focused prospecting, for small teams that want sourcing and sending in one tool, and for anyone who needs a usable free plan to start. Three limits are worth knowing before you commit:
- European and DACH data. Coverage and accuracy for Germany, Austria and Switzerland are noticeably weaker than for the US. For those markets, a provider like Cognism or company data from registers usually does better, as our guide to company data in DACH explains.
- Phone numbers. Mobile numbers are available but costlier in credits and less reliable than from phone-focused providers.
- Sending from the same tool. Apollo can send sequences, but running high-volume cold email from the tool that holds your database ties your deliverability to one account. Most serious setups send from dedicated infrastructure, as described in our infrastructure guide.

Which plan to choose
Start on the free plan to test data quality for your specific market. Search for twenty companies you know well and check whether the contacts are current. If the data holds up, Basic on annual billing is the best value for most small teams. Professional is worth it once you rely on Apollo's automation and need the larger credit pool. Organization only makes sense for teams of three or more who need its admin and scale features.
The part a pricing page cannot solve
A database subscription gives you contacts, not conversations. The results come from the list logic, the reason to write, the sending setup and the follow-up. That is what we build and run as a B2B lead generation agency, using Apollo where its data is strong and other sources where it is not, in accounts you own. Pricing starts at 3,500 euros a month with a three-month build phase and monthly terms after that, details on the pricing page.
Frequently asked questions
How much does Apollo.io cost in 2026?
As listed on Apollo's pricing page in late September 2026, per seat per month: Free at 0 dollars, Basic at 49 dollars on annual billing or 65 on monthly billing, Professional at 79 annual or 99 monthly, and Organization at 119 dollars on annual billing only with a minimum of three seats. Credit allowances differ strongly between annual and monthly billing.
How many credits do you get with Apollo?
The free plan includes 900 credits per seat per year, granted monthly. On annual billing, Basic grants 30,000 credits per seat per year up front, Professional 48,000 and Organization 72,000. On monthly billing, Basic grants 2,500 credits a month and Professional 4,000. Email reveals, mobile numbers, exports and some AI features draw credits at different rates, so check the current credit table before sizing your plan.
Is Apollo's free plan good enough for cold outreach?
It is good enough to test whether Apollo's data is accurate for your market, and not enough to run real outreach. With 900 credits per seat per year and two sequences, it works as a trial. Search twenty companies you know well and check the contacts before paying for a plan.
We sell mostly into Germany. Is Apollo worth it, or should we use something else?
Test it before committing. Apollo's coverage and accuracy for Germany, Austria and Switzerland are weaker than for the US, especially for phone numbers. Many DACH teams combine a European-focused provider such as Cognism, company data from registers, and a waterfall email finder. Search twenty known target companies in Apollo's free plan and compare the results with what you know.
